3-4 coats on top of white base, Natural Light |
Last Friday Night is from OPI's Katy Perry collection released a couple summers ago I think. This is probably the sheerest pastel blue I have ever used. At first I thought the color would show up just as bright on my nails and I painted my nails without a white base and I couldn't even see the color on my nails. I ended up repainting my nails with a white base because I was desperate to get the color to work. I'm not sure if this is just the bottle I bought or all of the
Last Friday Night polishes but the formula for this was almost gel-like and I didn't mind it but if you don't like super thick formulas that aren't the easiest to manipulate then I'd stay away from this. I put 3-4 coats of the polish on top of the white base and you can see the results above still aren't the best. I would treat this like a glitter polish and just use it as a top coat over a creme finish baby blue. ALSO I personally don't like matte nails at all because I need my nails to be glossy enough to see my reflection and this polish dries matte so just a little warning for you guys.
Honestly I'd pass on this polish it really wasn't worth the hassle even 50% off :(
