Nail Of The Day: Revlon Buttercup

I've heard so many things about this nail polish and that it's like the cheaper alternative for gel nails. I've had the polish on for a good week and there is literally not a single chip on any of my nails but alas the time has come to change my polish because I'm a freak like that. I'm definitely going to get my hands on some other colors in this line though to see if all of them are as good as Buttercup. Buttercup is a creme finish pale, pale yellow polish. Unlike most yellow nail polishes this one actually looks good on my nails AND it's subtle enough that people a mile away don't get blinded by your nails and joke about you being a ray of sunshine....
Natural Light, 3 coats
Say hi to my feet ^^
Bottle, Natural Light
The formula itself of these nail polishes is very thick but you do have to wait between each coat because otherwise the polish gets super streaky. I had to apply three coats because I kept painting on the next coat without waiting for the polish to fully dry. The color is very true to how it looks in the bottle (thank god) because I was worried it was just going to look like white on my nails. The pale yellow also makes me look super tan and brings out my yellow undertones and it's super flattering!

My only complaint about this polish is the streakiness, I remember after painting my nails I was so frustrated and was determined to hate the polish but of course it won me over. <3 Best yellow I've tried so far (and the most affordable). BUY IT
